Biology: Coprophagic. Typical Phanaeini zig-zag flight, maximum 40cm above ground level
Habitat: Shaded areas. Primary and secondary forest only, occasionally in coffee plantations. 400-800m. Activity linked directly to rainfall.
Size: 14-21mm
Active Period: Diurnal 0840-1700. Found all year, but peak abundance April-June
